Indian Peaks Wilderness – August 2015

Here are a selected few images from my backpacking trip in Colorado with Walter and John from Aug 1 to Aug 16. Most of the images are from the Indian Peaks Wilderness, but we did take a hike in the Flatirons and also a couple of visits to Rocky Mountain National Park. There are lots of wildflower images, but geez, the wildflowers were amazing and I took a lot of pictures of them. Again, my picture taking does not really do justice to the amount and density of the flowers. It was amazing. We crossed the continental divide 5 times over the two week trip, and each time was exhilarating; windy, blustery, beautiful, well worth the effort. It was a fantastic trip.
